In a meta-analysis, tamoxifen with an aromatase significantly improved survival, and additional clinical trials are being conduced to assess their efficacy in patients 5-10 years post-diagnosis. Prof. Neven additionally highlights Clinical Treatment Score at 5 years (CTS5) as a prognostic tool and the potential benefits of selective estrogen receptor downregulators (SERDs).
