Previously living in a maisonette with just 3 bedrooms, homeowner Fareed and his wife wanted a home that was big enough to host 4 bedrooms so that each of their three teenage kids has a personal space of their own. At the same time, they also wanted a communal space that encourages family bonding as much as possible – and with space planning being crucial to this renovation, they sought the help of Gerald and Jia Rui (JR) from Jialux Interior to turn their visions into reality. After much blood, sweat, and tears, the result is a cosy, timeless-looking home with ample space for this family of five.
