As people who love vibrant colours and collecting things such as books, toys, and art prints, homeowners Garrick and Ansley knew well enough that the minimalist interior design style was not for them – and so, they decided to give their new home a look that they've described as 'maximalist' and 'cluttercore'. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a vibrant home filled with pops of green, brick red, and mustard yellow, anchored by dark wood tones that are borne out of the homeowners' love for mid-century modern interiors. The focal point of the home: a large TV feature wall that doubles up as a cat playground, with an expansive cat 'highway' that provides ample room for the owners' three feline companions to play in. Further in, you'll also find the kitchen and Ansley's studio – both of which are fitted with unique 'pot hole' cutouts that not only allow more light to stream into the rooms, but also add a unique touch to the space.
