I had seen a video on this engine a week earlier, and thankfully Jack and I caught it in Emporia. This is a forward facing K5HL that's missing its #3 bell, creating a very nice sound. It's even better that it's forward facing and on a Dash 9. If somebody could put a 3B on this thing, it'd be the best horn on BNSF bar none. Also, thanks to Jack for recording this on my main camera. I had gone to get some refreshments, although I did get another video of this train on my phone about a mile east of here.
