The BEST Colca Canyon Trek Route | PART 1 | Hiking Peru Vlog

Our next adventure in Peru sees us take on the epic challenge of hiking Colca Canyon without a guide. Starting in Arequipa with just a map and our backpacks, we set off on a 5 day Colca Canyon trekking route and over 42km to explore some of the most beautiful scenery in Peru. In this episode (1/2) we hit up Llahuar and the Colca Canyon hot springs, then head onto the remote village of Fure and check out Huaruro waterfall. In the next episode (2/2) we push on and venture right into the depths, to the lush green Colca Canyon Oasis of Sangalle, then onto San Juan de Chuccho before finally climbing back up and out to Cabanaconde.
