(Filmed 11/1/25) Now, this is something! This is a huge Schindler elevator located in the center court of the mall. It's not 100% reliable as it has been broken the last 2 times that I visited. I finally got to it on a day that it was working and I managed to film it. However, the matters were complicated: A major event was occurring here, and I was trying to respect everyone's privacy, and there was loud music playing, so I didn't want to get any copyright claims on this video. Plus, security was all over afterwards cleaning up, and I highly dislike putting "busted" onto my videos. Regardless, it was very busy. After waiting too long for an opening, the tipping point had been reached: my mom had to get some help. She came back with a security guard, and he offered to show me the machine room. I accepted his offer, given that I have been in machine rooms with Colorado Custom Elevator & Lift before (see • Colorado Custom Elevator & Lift Tour! ), and so I got to take a look at how this elevator works! You can find it at timestamp 2:57 in the video. (Though the guard referred to it as the "engine room", it's basically the same thing as "machine room", don't you worry. And then, my worries were over, as I began filming the elevator. Only later did I realize that this elevator actually replaced something else. The inner door track is a Schindler door track, but the outer door track looks like a Montgomery door track. Which suggests that this was originally a Montgomery, probably one with the square G&P buttons, and then Schindler completely ripped out the old car and fixtures and replaced it with a 300A with MT fixtures. Which makes sense because the escalators are Montgomery escalators, which haven't worked in years and are red-tagged. Pretty interesting. Special thanks to the security guard who helped us out for showing me the machine room and for letting me film in there and the elevator! © 2026 Hidden Elevator Adventures. All Rights Reserved.
