This Week’s Activity and Events: This week we planned to do a ride out to Diamond Head and back but the weather outside was frightful (for Hawaii). So instead, we found a ride on Zwift in their Fondo Series: the Feast. This wasn’t a Gran Fondo like Jay mentioned at the beginning of the video, a Gran Fondo is actually 62 miles (100km). This was just a regular Fondo and was 29 miles long. We were supposed to be doing a zone 2 light on the heartrate ride but competition got the best of Jay and he ended up getting after it and making a tough workout of the ride. Chelle was much more sensible as usual as she knows better than to overdue it 9 days before the Honolulu Marathon. ▬ About Racing Through Midlife ▬ We are Jay and Michelle Miller and our goal is show you our journey as we build fitness through nutrition and physical activity.
