English subtitles available. *(Eesti keelne automaattõlge sisaldab vigu.) In this video, I install grease blocks and hoses on my timber crane to make lubrication faster, easier, and safer. On a timber crane, the grease nipples are often high up, so every time you need to lubricate, you have to climb or move the crane. This can be risky, especially in winter when surfaces are slippery. With my new setup, I created two grease blocks: A 3-output block mounted on the main boom A 2-output block attached to the outer boom I made the grease blocks myself from 25x25mm square steel and bolted them securely to the crane. For hoses, I used special central lubrication system hoses with compatible fittings. This upgrade makes daily maintenance faster, safer, and more convenient.
