This video shows Bohol-Panglao International Airport (TAG) departures gates. Bohol–Panglao International Airport (BPIA) is the main aviation gateway to Bohol and Panglao Island in the Central Visayas, located in Barangay Tawala on Panglao Island and opened on November 28, 2018 to replace the old Tagbilaran Airport. Designed to support the island’s fast-growing tourism industry, the airport features a modern two-level passenger terminal with a capacity of about two million passengers annually and a 2,500-meter runway capable of handling both narrow- and wide-body aircraft. Often called the Philippines’ first “eco-airport” or the country’s “Green Gateway to the World,” BPIA incorporates sustainable design elements such as solar panels, natural ventilation, abundant daylight, and energy-efficient systems. Its spacious apron, modern navigation and lighting systems, and international-standard facilities allow for safe day and night operations while accommodating future growth in air traffic. Conveniently located about 10 minutes from Alona Beach and roughly 30 minutes from Tagbilaran City, the airport plays a vital role in improving accessibility to Bohol’s resorts, beaches, and cultural attractions, strengthening both tourism and the local economy. Bohol is a little over an hour airplane ride from Manila. #philippinestravel #VisitPhilippines #TravelVlog #PhilippinesVlog #ExplorePhilippines #IslandLife #TropicalTravel #SoutheastAsiaTravel #hiddengems #naiaterminal3 #foodvlog #foodie #boholtravel #panglaoisland
