Update in the colne valley area with much of the construction now completed. Away from the construction one sees across the route many areas of material storage and not infrequently environment mitigation planting schemes in the early years of development . The viaduct fitting of acoustic barriers continues and it looks like the intention is for considerable views of the lakes, though time will tell what that experience will be like travelling at high speed... some views on the down line side are blocked. Much of the civil works around the removal of the jetty/temporary haul road looks completed too. Trains are due to cross this area by the early 2030’s. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
