In this video, Agata Hae In JDPSN talks about four stages of practice in Zen Master Seung Sahn's teaching and how they relate to the functioning of our nervous system. 📍“Put it all down and let it all go” - sinking of thoughts and emotions into the center (danjon) and calming the wandering energy of body and mind. 📍“Keep a not-moving mind moment by moment” - stabilizing and gathering energy. 📍“Your center and wisdom begin to grow by themselves” - not creating anything, non-doing, the natural growth of energy needed for clear functioning in the world. 📍“Your mind will break open as if a lightning striking” - an inner breakthrough to your true nature. Yet, if you can continuously keep a don’t-know mind, none of these stages or types of practice are necessary.
