In this video I continue the BMW E30 LS swap build after the front-end damage, focusing on getting the chassis back into a known position and preparing a replacement front end. The engine and gearbox are separated from the subframe, allowing the subframe to be reinstalled in the chassis so I can confirm the damage is limited to the front section only. Once that’s bolted back in, I strip the subframe completely, remove the steering rack, and start preparing everything for mock-up with the LS V8. I’ve also managed to source a complete E30 front end section, which I begin cleaning up in this video. That includes removing surface rust, dealing with corrosion in the chassis legs, applying rust neutraliser, and sealing everything with red oxide primer to protect it while I plan the repair. I also test-fit BMW V8 hydraulic engine mounts to see if they’ll work for the LS swap. This isn’t a cosmetic rebuild — it’s about structure, alignment, and making sure the car is solid before the LS goes anywhere near the engine bay. If you’re into BMW E30 builds, LS swaps, fabrication, or real-world project car problem solving, this one’s for you. 👍 Like the video if you’re enjoying the build 🔔 Subscribe to follow the full E30 LS swap from repair to completion
