Are you ready to step more into your Sovereign Power and Purpose? Taking Self-Leadership and Self-Ownership are keys for that process to activate fully. Here are some thoughts about what taking Self-Leadership means: Taking ownership and responsibility for my mental, emotional, physical, and energetic health and well-being. Owning my choices, decisions, and actions. Being self-aware and knowing thyself. Deeply. Continuously doing inner work: reducing and healing trauma, triggers, and emotional wounds. De-programming from limiting and self-sabotaging beliefs. Striving to live with integrity and authenticity. Daring to speak up, daring to be visible, daring to stand out of the crowd. Treat others and myself with kindness and respect, yet don't tolerate being treated like shit. Being self-reliant, self-sufficient, and independent. Not delegating your decision-making (your responsibility) to external sources considered authority. Just because your dad, doctor, or government convincingly “says so” — doesn’t mean that it is the right decision for you. Make your own decisions. You have authority over yourself. Own it. Discernment, logical reasoning, and intuition work together. They are abilities to be practiced, honed, and used. Having healthy boundaries. Having high standards for how you live your life. Do things that build confidence and self-esteem. Reduce the need to be liked; fear of conflict; fear of rejection, fear of the unknown. Be strong and stand in your power, yet also seek support. Sometimes we need help. Being a conscious leader in your own life doesn’t mean that you have to do everything yourself. Be wise though, and only ask for support from people that have the experience and know-how to give you the support you need. Accept that challenges are inevitable. Take responsibility for how we handle the challenge. Choose to earn and grow from everything. Create value for others. Make a positive difference. Be a Force For Good. Don’t passively rely on external saviors to rescue me, fix me, heal me, etc. Yes, external help and support are needed at times, but I am responsible for making the right decisions and taking action. I choose to Value, Accept, and Respect myself.
