A special D-lab electronics Solid State Sinema presentation. Yes, its back for 2023. D-Lab is repairing the classic 1970's transistorized receivers. Marantz, Sansui, Pioneer, Hitachi, Realistic, etc, Silver face series. I am taking on only the silver series. Not these new surround sound units. As with this repair, the bias setting became an issue. For me to continue, I am in search of more detailed information. NOTE: It appears that there is little info available for the IA600. Therefore I have decided to generate a custom schematic utilizing the PCB as a reference. I will document voltages and generate a bias adjustment procedure. More to follow..
