Unexpectedly in Monza, I was lucky enough to film the Inaltera LM GTP, a French sports car prototype from 1976, built-in only three units. From my research, the car belongs to the Swiss driver and collector Edwin Stucky and ex Henri Pescarolo and Jean-Pierre Beltoise's official car. Therefore, it could be chassis # 003, one of the two cars that took part in the 24H of Le Mans in 1976. The French crew finished first in the GTP class and eighth in the overall race classification. In the role of a constructor, Ex-driver Jean Rondeau realises that to debut in the 1976 season, this prototype sports car is to be entered in the new prototype Gran Turismo class (GTP). This category was conceived for that year by the ACO for coupé cars instead of the FIA ​​Group 6 boats. The project comes to fruition thanks to the sponsorship agreement with Inaltera, a manufacturer of wallpaper that affixes the brand and comes to the races with its racing team. A 3.0-Liter powers the car naturally aspirated Cosworth DFV V8 engine capable of developing 420hp. The frame is a steel tube trellis with aluminium boxed reinforcements. The suspension is a deformable wishbone on all wheels, brakes with self-ventilated front discs produced by Lockheed and wheel rims in the size of 13 ". The rear brake discs are mounted at the differential outlet to reduce unsprung mass. The coupé body is equipped with large NACA air intakes on both sides and excellent aerodynamic care that sees the use of two rear fins on the large tail to allow greater stability to the car. L'auto appartiene al pilota e collezionista svizzero Edwin Stucky e si tratta del modello ex ufficiale Henri Pescarolo e Jean-Pierre Beltoise. Potrebbe quindi trattarsi del telaio #003, una delle due vetture che presero parte alla 24H di Le Mans nel 1976. L'equipaggio francese finì primo nella classe GTP e ottavo nella classifica assoluta di gara. Nei panni di costruttore, l'ex pilota Jean Rondeau lavora per il debutto dell'auto nella stagione 1976.
