This video shows a complete flight of the North American P-51D Mustang “Nooky Booky IV”, operated by The Flying Bulls. From engine start, through takeoff, a full aerobatic display in the mountains surrounding Kitzbühel, and final landing at Salzburg Airport, all seen from an onboard perspective inside the cockpit. During the flight you hear pilot Eskil Amdal giving a calm, expert voice-over taking you along every step of the flight. Built in 1944, "Nooky Booky IV" once belonged to legendary aviator Bob Hoover. The Mustang is known historically as a long-range, single-seat fighter, powered by a high-performance Packard-built Merlin V-1650 engine — and widely regarded as one of the most effective piston-engined fighters of its era.
