What does real peace actually look like—and where does it come from? In Ephesians 2:14–22, the apostle Paul speaks into a deeply divided world and makes a striking claim: peace is not something we work toward or hold together by effort. Peace is a person. Jesus himself is our peace. Paul shows us how Christ tears down the walls that divide, brings those who were once far off near, and creates something entirely new; a people marked by grace, shared belonging, and restored relationship with God. This is not peace built on agreement or sameness, but peace rooted in the finished work of the cross. This sermon explores: what it means to say that Jesus is our peace how Christ dismantles the hostility that separates us why unity in the church is created, not achieved and how belonging comes before contribution in the household of God If you’ve felt the weight of division in the world, in the church, or even within yourself, this message invites you to rest in what Christ has already done.
