But restless Rishaira isn't quite as she seems to be with clanking and leaking steam...and Grace is in for two very different rescues -------------------------------------------- DIRECTOR'S NOTES: And here comes what was going to be the first episode of our refresh! This had been developed very early on when we decided to reformat the series, with our original plan being four stories linked by "True Blue" wraparounds (a concept we eventually tried out with Tales from the Docks). One of the major goals for the refresh was to dive more into the world and characters of Crotoonia who hadn't gotten much attention, and Rishaira and Grace were a popular pair to revisit first! Alas, plans changed and we chose to save this one for juuust a little later to work on giving the True Blue Steam Team a proper episode and moving forward Safety First (which had started animation production beforehand...this particular episode is my first solo animating ep in a while!). The Chipperton and Swahilli Railway is an area I've been excited to show more of with its smaller scale crew and scenic destinations, and this odd couple are a team that's always a delight to write for...especially when put to action with Robin's delightful vocals! She brings so much to the characters and her enthusiasm for this episode really helped carry so much energy throughout it!
