==== CAUTION: READ MY COMMENT BELOW ONE MONTH LATER ==== We hated our front load LG washing machine because it would never add enough water into each wash and rinse cycle. But now, all is well since adjusting the master setting for the water level. It seems the factory default setting considers places in the USA where water is scarce like in California. But water is abundant here. Better washed and rinsed clothes that don't get beat up so badly is better for us. This video walks you through a few simple steps to change the factory default setting. Any man or woman can easily do this in less than 10 minutes using a Phillips screw driver and a utility knife or X-Acto blade. There is no need to move the machine nor disconnect anything. Thank you Garnett M. for posting this.    • Видео   It really did the trick. ===== ADDING THIS COMMENT ONE MONTH LATER ===== After making the adjustment, we noticed an electronic smell under "FULL LOAD" conditions. I backed off the setting 1/2 turn which reduced the quantity of water enough to eliminate the electronic smell. My wife says it is still enough water. We think the smell came from the motor being over-worked. So... after following my video, I advise to do one of the following. 1) don't over-stuff the machine to prevent straining the motor 2) back the setting 1/2 turn to reduce the amount of water =====ADDING THIS COMMENT 2 YEARS LATER===== It has been nearly 2 years since adjusting the water level that second time. The washing machine continues to work well. My wife just told me that she is still very happy with the water level. She says having more water like at first would have been ideal, but backing it off a bit for the health of the machine, is still very good. She originally wanted to replace the washing machine with a conventional machine with the typical agitator. But now she is happy with this one with the adjusted water level.
