KITT will be at IMM Bristol and Minis on the Rec Find me on Facebook   / classicminiws   This video is a complete timelapse of the restoration my friend Mark and I did on a 1990 Mini Mayfair which we built into a Knight Rider Themed show car in tribute to the 80's TV series. The car was restored from a rusty shell in time to show at the London to Brighton Mini Run 2019. The work started in December 2018 and was completed in just under 6 months / 180 days. All work including the paintwork was carried out by Mark and Myself however we did sub out the paint to be machine polished by professionals. KITT is a 1275cc A+ Automatic with TCK Stage 3 cylinder head and 1.5 ratio roller rockers running a standard SPI single point injection system. Suspension is full Moulton smooth ride kit with Hi Lo's and Mini Sport 4 pot 8.4" vented brake discs. Paint is 2k gloss black with metallic flake in the lacquer. Kitt has a custom interior, dash and door build with central locking, voice synthesizer and full digital dash.
