Train With 4 Loud Locomotives Going Up The Big Hill, 2 Of The Locomotives Are Pushing The Rear! Loudest Manned Pusher Locomotives Ever! How Many Auto Racks Can A Single CSX Locomotive Pull? CSX Steel Coils Train At Railroad Crossing. Long Hood Forward Norfolk Southern Switching Freight Train. These CSX and Norfolk Southern trains are in Carlisle, Ohio and Crescent Springs, Kentucky. The first few trains are in Carlisle, Ohio at one of my favourite railroad crossings. This crossing has a CSX track and 2 Norfolk Southern tracks. The best train here was the steel coils and steel slabs train that was running northbound on the CSX Toledo Sub. The NS switcher running long hood forward was pretty cool also. Then we go to the big hill in Crescent Springs, Kentucky on the Norfolk Southern Rat Hole Line. That first train was really awesome. It was a mixed freight with 2 locomotives on the front and 2 manned locomotives on the rear. Listen to how loud those units on the rear were! I mean they were really loud! Those 2 locomotives were cut off at Elsmere, Kentucky which was a few miles past me and then sent back down the hill. Then we have a mixed freight with a DPU on the rear easing down the hill. This train was followed by an intermodal going up the hill. This is one of my favorite places to watch trains. Heavy trains going up the hill can be quite loud and sometimes require a manned pusher locomotive as seen in this video. What did you think about locomotive #1800 with the yellow nose?
