Hugo's House of Horrors is a MS-DOS game produced by David P. Gray and released as shareware in 1990. This is the first in a 3 part graphic adventure game series featuring the character Hugo and his girlfriend Penelope. You play as Hugo, who is on a mission to rescue his girlfriend Penelope who has wandered into a mysterious and rather haunted- looking house. Type in what you want to do, e.g open door, and interact with various characters and items on the screen. This game is so nostalgic to me, I loved playing this as a kid in the 90's. In this video I playthrough the game and get all the points. I couldn't figure out why I was unable to get max points the first few times I passed this game. It turns out you have to take back the chop from the doggy. Seems a little strange to me, as you don't need it at any other point of the game and you risk getting your hand taken off by a ferocious looking canine!
