What are supersets? We'll be going over the definition and examples of supersets in today's video set theory lesson! If B is a subset of A then A is a superset of B. The superset relation is the same as the subset relation but in the opposite direction! Remember if every element of B is in A then we say B is a subset of A. In this same situation we say A is a superset of B. SOLUTION TO PRACTICE PROBLEM: A is a superset of B, D is a superset of A, and D is a superset of B. I said to give "three examples of supersets", this is kind of only two examples, but you see what I meant! These are three statements of different superset relations.
