This webinar on December 7, 2020 was the 3rd in a year long series on the Intersections of Race, Class, and Health sponsored by the University of Colorado Center for Bioethics and Humanities (www.coloradobioethics.org). Washington is the author of Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present. She has been a fellow in medical ethics at the Harvard Medical School, a senior research scholar at the National Center for Bioethics at Tuskegee University, a fellow at the Harvard School of Public Health, and the recipient of a John S. Knight Fellowship at Stanford University. This series is made possible by the Henry and Janet Claman Endowed Professorship in the Medical Humanities.
