I hope you give this recipe a go! It was sooo tasty and not too sweet or heavy as store bought pies tend to be! Feel free to add more spices, I prefer less cinnamon myself. I really wanted to film my Apple Pie recipe this holiday season with homemade pie filling and pie crust! Sadly, our fridge stopped working for a few days making it virtually impossible to successfully make pie crust (this needs to stay chilled at all times!) I still wanted to use the fresh Honeycrisp apples that I purchased, so I decided to persevere and try out the ready made Pillsbury Crust for the first time! Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to work with and how delicious it tasted! It was very buttery, flakey, thin, light, and most of all the bottom crust remained crispy once baked and plated. I would highly recommend this crust for anyone who wants to skim a little time when baking pie!
