Join me this video for a full week of hyrox training and my 50th parkrun! I'm going to be completing my first Hyrox event on the 23rd of October in Birmingham and I'm nervous and excited! Hyrox training has been pretty tough, especially the lunges but I've really enjoyed getting stronger and I think it's improving my running at the same time too! Hyrox is a functional fitness race which involves 8km of running with 8 stations in between each km. The reason I am trying it is because I'm always up for a challenge and I've heard that this is going to be exactly that. My goal is to get under 1:20 which seems achievable but who knows... I'm excited to keep training and getting stronger as I get closer and closer to completing my first Hyrox!
