R44 & R211S Staten Island Railway Action at Richmond Valley

Here we have some R44’s and R211S’ performing trips on the Staten Island Railway. With the R44’s on borrowed time, it made sense to visit NYC’s “forgotten borough” to catch them before it’s too late. Richmond Valley is a less frequently used station, thus having a platform only able to accommodate 3 cars (R44)/4 cars (R211S) out of the 4/5. The R211S has a special feature to only open 3 sets of doors in the fourth car, one that is not present in the rest of the NYC Subway.
