I was recently doing a walking audit of various shops & businesses along the downtown promenade. I stumbled across an unmarked Disney location that sparked my interest as I noticed a collage of old license plates mounted along the wall just inside what appeared to be some sort of dining location...It was later determined that it was an employee break room which seemed like an odd place for the break room to be positioned in plain view from the public sidewalk through the doors. I had a couple employees come out to question why I was recording inside through the window & i explained that their collage drew my attention. One individual threatened to call police due to my documenting from the public sidewalk, so I had to stay on scene to be sure to record any interaction if & when law enforcement arrived. About 15-20 mins later an unmarked vehicle pulled up & 3 individuals proceeded around the corner to meet up with the calling party. They didn't appear to be any official law enforcement & more so private security for the company... I initially decided to give them a fail for the threat of calling police, but on the flip side gave a pass for apparently calling their security rather than wasting law enforcement's valuable time coming out for no crime. #FirstAmendmentAudit #1AAudit #SouthernCalifornia #PublicPhotography
