One of my clients with MS just hit a HUGE milestone 🎉, & you might be surprised by how — She can now stand for 12 minutes — the longest she’s been able to stand in YEARS! 😱 Just a few months ago, standing for 3-4 minutes felt like a struggle, but now she’s able to: ✅ Chat with her husband and kids while standing ✅ Wait in lines without needing to sit ✅ Walk longer distances Her world is opening up in SO many ways, and I couldn’t be prouder. But — here’s the surprising part… We’re not even working on standing balance exercises yet 🤯 Instead, we’ve been focusing on strengthening key muscles like: 💥 Hip flexors 💥 Hamstrings 💥 Hip extensors We’re also working on loosening and relaxing the tension and tightness in her hip extensors and piriformis🚶♀️ Sometimes, hitting those standing-based goals is about getting the right balance of strength and flexibility first!
