Ricky checks off an item on his bucket list. It was a one-of-a-kind indoor skydiving experience. Not only did he make two flights, but he also took the High Flight! He flew higher and faster with his instructor...what a blast (literally). There’s no other feeling in the world quite like it. iFLY’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel in the Springs was designed to provide a safe flight experience. Memories that will last a lifetime, and a unique story to tell (via this video)! It was $85.00 for the basic flights and a little more for the High Flight. They also offer a military discount of 20% on select experiences. So, how does it work? A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides through Return Air Towers. That leads to an inlet contractor that compresses & speeds up the air before it reenters the flight chamber. The result: a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.
