Likwhezi Art Project in Collaboration with the Cape Cultural Collective - Dance video Featuring four young dancers from the Likhwezi Arts project, and contemporary dancer Darion Adams. The Likhwezi dancers are Simamkele Makeleni, Zenande Boyce, Chulumanco Makeleni and Lisanda Lomntu. Contemporary dancer Darion trained and has worked extensively with Jazzart. He is an accomplished dancer and is committed to developing the talents of young people in his community. The dance video is one of three produced by the CCC in recent months. Our music video has been released and a poetry video will be released in the new year. The Likhwezi Arts Project was established in 2004 and is headed by Pamela Mtati. She has trained many young dancers from Gugulethu, Nyanga and elsewhere. Pamela Mtati said they appreciated the opportunity to showcase their dance talents and collaborate with the CCC.
