quick, easy, dessert, rabri, and Shahi Tukray. Learn how to make delicious Shahi Tukray in just 30 minutes! This quick and easy dessert is made with air-fried bread and creamy rabri flavored with cardamom and nuts. Perfect for tea time, family gatherings, or festive occasions like Eid. Ingredients • 1.5 litre milk • 5–6 bread slices (or more if preferred) • 80 g sugar (about ⅓ cup) • 4 tbsp almond powder • 2–3 tbsp chopped almonds & cashew • ½ tsp cardamom powder • A pinch of food color (optional) • 150 ml dairy cream • Butter (for brushing bread) • Silver leaf / varq (optional or garnish) ⸻ Method 1. Brush bread slices lightly with butter and place them in the air fryer. 2. Air fry at 180°C for 3 minutes, flip the slices, and air fry again for 3 minutes until golden and crispy. 3. In a pan, add milk and bring it to a boil. 4. Add sugar, cardamom powder, chopped almonds, chopped cashews, food color, and almond powder. Mix well. 5. Continue boiling the milk until it reduces to almost half and becomes slightly thick. 6. Add 150 ml dairy cream and whisk well to make the rabri smooth and creamy. 7. Arrange the toasted bread slices in a serving dish. 8. Pour the hot rabri over the bread slices, then add another layer of bread and pour more rabri on top. 9. Garnish with silver varq and serve warm or chilled. Cook’s Tip Tip: For extra rich rabri, add dairy cream at the end and whisk well. Almond powder helps thicken the milk and gives the rabri a slightly grainy texture, which makes this Shahi Tukray extra creamy and delicious.
