Cool Jerry Reed lick shown by Jay Collins. This is a lick that Jerry played in the intro of a tune called "Stumpwater" on the album Me and Chet with Chet Atkins. He is in the key of E Major and he goes up the scale on the bass strings and down the scale on the top strings, both at the same time! Glen Campbell used the same lick that he jokingly said he stole from Jerry, in his well known tune "Southern Nights." It isn't that difficult and I show you how to play it step by step.
