This is one of those easy recipes that make you think— “That’s complex!” Let me debunk it. You’ll see this is the easiest method to make a cookie that makes you want more in spite of satisfying you completely. It is rich and rustic, and an indulgence that you should treat yourself to every once in a while. The depth of flavour contributed by coffee will eradicate the need for brown sugar. A bite into it and your knees could go weak. Play your favourite music and enjoy it well :) 1 US Cup = 240 ml Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon warm Milk 1 teaspoon Instant Coffee powder 115 grams or 1/2 Cup Salted Butter 200 grams or 1.5 Cups Powdered Sugar (all white) 1 Whole Egg 1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence 180 grams or 1.5 Cups Maida (All-Purpose Flour) 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 11 to 12 minutes on the middle rack. NOTE: • Use your preferred type of Chocolate (Milk or Dark or a combination; I’ve not tried white). I used 65% Dark chocolate. • Compound chocolate affects two things— taste & texture. Couverture chocolate has a far superior taste (for obvious reasons) and secondly, it remains more soft at room temperature therefore helping the cookie stay chewy within. #ExperienceSusegad Susegad is a Goan term that can be explained as a state of contentment. Among the people of Goa (a tiny state in India) this manner of life is the general norm. This channel is not only a series of recipe vlogs, but a demonstration of the beauty of Susegad in everyday life. And for me, life’s most happening place is the kitchen and the dining table :) Mog Asum ❤️ Let There Be Love Music Credits: Claudia by C Alvares from the Konkani movie Nirmon (Instrumental Cover by Tabitha Dias)
