This model train event is presented by the Salisbury & South Wilts Society. The event takes place on 17th and 18th May 2025. The model train exhibition took place at the following location: Thruxton Centre Thruxdon Andover This is Griswald, an N Gauge layout. The following information is from the programme: "GRISWALD is a small N gauge Swiss lakeside town with an international mainline running through it. There are two branch lines which head into the surrounding area and a tramline running through a disused rail tunnel which it shares with road traffic, and a tourist railway ascending a 1 in 7 gradient to a viewpoint and mountain restaurant. The 4 minor lines are all automatic and a selection of passenger and freight trains circulate on the mainline. Layout construction is on a minimum cost approach. Scenery is pasted newspaper, track ballast is made from T-leaves, trees and overhead catenary are DIY. Featured in Continental Modeller 2011."
