Series Playlist ▶ • PlayStation Racing Games For the purpose of this playthrough / drivethru, I only took part in season mode. Arcade mode acts more like a 'quick race' and doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Sports Car GT was published by Electronic Arts (EA) and developed by Image Space Incorporated for Microsoft Windows, and Point of View for PlayStation. Both editions of the game feature co-development by Westwood Studios. In season mode (championship), the player has to race in four GT classes. Each of these classes have five race tracks (GT1 has four). The player starts in the GT qualifying class (GTQ), taking part in 4 races of 3 laps each: Sebring Int'l Short, Road Atlanta, Mosport Park and Desert Speedway. Once this championship has been complete you are given an invitational 1v1 challenge at Sebring Int'l Short to attempt to win a race version of the BMW M3. GT3 class consists of 5 races of 3 laps each, held at Road Atlanta (Wet), Mosport Park, Sebring Int'l Short (Wet), Desert Speedway and Laguna Seca Raceway. No special invitationals are rewarded for winning this championship. GT2 consists of 5 races of 4 laps each at Sebring Int'l Raceway, Desert Speedway, Mosport Park (Wet), Sebring Int'l Short and Laguna Seca Raceway Reverse. For winning this championship you are given another 3-lap 1v1 invitational at Mosport Park (Wet) for a chance to win a Callaway C7R GT1 car. GT1 class is the longest of them all. It features 5 races of varying lap distances. Starting at Sebring Int'l Raceway (Wet) for 5 laps, Road Atlanta for 5 laps, Desert Speedway for 7 laps, Mosport Park for 10 laps, Road Atlanta Reverse for 15 laps and finally Sebring Int'l Raceway for a mammoth 20 laps. Once this championship is completed you unlock a bonus championship; The Paris GT1. The Paris GT1 is rather anti-climactic. It features three races on two new courses of only 3 laps each. Course de Triumph and two races at Eiffel Tour, one in dry and one in wet conditions. Once this championship is complete the credits roll and the game is finished. All cars can be upgraded (excluding special models that you win via the 1 v 1 challenge). The player can modify the car to increase its performance and value. Once a component has been upgraded, it can be installed or removed at any time. Components that can be upgraded are: brakes, suspension, exhaust, engine, gearbox, aero kit and the tires of the car. The player can tune their car. Not tuning in making a design to the car or spray with colour, but change the optimum performance of the car. Components that can be adjusted are: brakes, suspension, ride height, transmission, gearbox, downforce and the tires. 0:00 - Intro / GTQ Class 23:32 - GT3 Class 45:45 - GT2 Class 1:17:18 - GT1 Class 2:34:17 - Paris GT1 / Outro Don't forget to check out my main channel for more racing goodness! ▶ / @dan-bartlett #SportsCarGT #PlayStation #Playthrough #Drivethru #Gameplay #longplay
