Intermediate Iyengar Yoga Sequence - Leg Extension towards Anantasana 20 minute Intermediate Iyengar Yoga Lesson working towards the Intermediate Pose Anantasana or Sleeping Vishnu Pose, sometimes known as Vishnu's couch Pose or Side-Reclining Leg Lift. This yoga sequence uses the wall, floor and chair to create extension in the asanas. ​ @Yoga with Lin and Leo are offering our new, live streamed option from our studio in Maidstone in the South East of England. . Hopefully, some of the timings will enable our viewers in the USA, Canada, Australia and India to join us. The class prices start at £7.50. @Yoga with Lin and Leo have changed the way we work due to the Covid-19 situation. We hope to continue posting regularly but we will be teaching individually. This yoga sequence, taught by Lin, is a shortened version of one of the virtual classes we are teaching at the Maidstone Yoga Centre. This yoga routine has mainly Intermediate poses and is not suitable for Beginners. The poses are: Adho Mukha Svanasaa - Dog Head Down Adho Mukha Virasaa - Forward Folding Hero Pose Uttanasana - Forward Fold Supta Padangusthasana 1 and 2 - Supine Leg Lifts Anantasana - Sleeping Vishnu Pose, Halasana - Plow or Plough Pose Salamba Sarvangasana - Shoulder Stand Savasana - Corpse Pose You need a wall, your mat, a chair (preferably a yoga chair), a belt and either a bolster or 4 foam pads. If you find any of the poses difficult, you can look the poses up in our Yoga Pose Directory, which we are adding to all the time.These tutorials will teach the poses in more detail and sometimes with extra props.
