In this video, we dive into a common question: if the Event Model is the blueprint for the implementation, how can it differ from the system we actually build? Using a concrete example of registering tenants and users, I show: How an Event Model describes information flow, not just the events stored in your system. Why some events exist in the model but never appear in the implementation. How synchronous external systems can affect the way your slices are implemented. How swimlanes and informational slices help visualize the flow without tying it to code. Even though the Event Model and the implementation look different, the model ensures the behavior and intent remain correct — making your system easier to understand, communicate, and evolve. 📌 Want to try the tools I used in this video?
