In a world that constantly pulls us toward distraction, desire, and disconnection, the Qur'an remains a guiding light—calling us back to serenity, clarity, and divine purpose. Amidst the noise of modern life, where the soul's receptivity is dulled by constant indulgence and base cravings, the Qur'an shines with timeless wisdom. Its verses awaken the heart and offer refuge for the spirit that longs for peace. It is easy to numb the pain of existing in this burdensome world. The weight of being human, with its suffering, loss, and longing, can feel too much to bear. And so, we escape—through attachments, through desires, through ideologies, even through false images of spirituality. We all stray in our own ways, searching for relief. But even in our wandering, God remains near. The Most Merciful does not abandon us. He knows our struggles, our faltering steps, our confusion. He sees our hearts even when we lose sight of them ourselves. And He calls us—gently, patiently—back to Him. Just as in the story of the lost sheep from the Bible, where Jesus speaks of the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who went astray, so too does the Most High seek out His lost ones. Not to punish, but to heal. Not to judge, but to guide. We are all the lost sheep of the Most High. Some call Him Allah, others Yahweh, others Krishna. The name is not what matters. What matters is that we recognize the call of the Heavenly Father and Mother—the Origin of all existence—who whispers to the soul through revelation, through remembrance, through scripture. The Qur'an is one such scripture. A radiant map for the inner life. It reminds us who we are beneath the layers of survival, identity, and pain. It invites us to return to a way of being that aligns with the peace we all secretly long for. Not a peace of perfect circumstances, but a deeper peace—the kind that stills the heart even in the midst of storms. We may never ascend into the clouds or dwell in permanent states of spiritual bliss. But we can live with contentment. We can experience serenity. We can let go of the heavy weight of the world and walk lightly, with the guidance of the Lord of all creation—who speaks not just in books, but in silence, in conscience, and in the stillness of the heart. May the words of the Qur’an remind you of what the world tries to make you forget: that you are not alone, that you are not abandoned, and that you are always being guided home. Peace and blessings to all my brothers and sisters—of every path and every tradition. May the light of truth reach your heart in whatever way your soul is ready to receive it. #quran #englishrecitation #islam #muslim #sufi
