They also got Waters to admit that former Clerk of Court Becky Hill's statements to jurors about Alex Murdaugh before there was a verdict were improper. The financial crimes and allegations of possible jury tampering by the clerk were the two reasons the justices allowed today's hearing. We'll have to wait now for a ruling which only needs a majority 3-2 vote, not a unanimous decision.
