I know many of you have been waiting for this video... here's the conclusion to the plates I designed and made recently, shown from beginning to end, from lumps of soft stoneware clay to the finished, reduction fired vessels. It's a long one but it goes over each step in tremendous detail, including how they're thrown, trimmed, waxed, glazed, packed inside the kiln, fired and finally polished so they don't have scratchy, grog-specked bases—phew.
