In this video we show a super easy way to make a crockpot recipe for chicken and dumplings. This is one of our all time favorite family meals. You just can't go wrong with Chicken and Dumplings. This is the easiest and best tasting recipe I have found for Chicken and Dumplings. The standard recipe feeds between 3-4 people. Estimated prep and "make time" (meaning, getting ingredients ready and into the crockpot or slow cooker) would be around 10 minutes max. 5 minutes or less for the initial meal and 5 minutes or less for dumplings. One pro tip :) is to consider adding extra dumplings (cover the top completely). Our families favorite part is the gooey and delicious dumplings so making sure there are plenty is the pro tip. We will be doing more easy and delicious recipes in the future. #food #recipe #crockpot #slowcooker #family Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings: Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 Tbsp. butter 2 (10.5 oz.) cans cream of chicken soup 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth 1/2 onion, diced OR you can use 2 Tbsp. dried, diced onion 1 Tbsp. dried parsley 4 Grands flaky refrigerator biscuits Cooking Directions: Place chicken in crockpot and then plop the butter on top of the chicken Pour cream of chicken soup, then chicken broth Add diced onion and dried parsley Cover and cook on High for 4-5 hours or Low for 8-9 hours Once chicken is done, shred it and mix/stir into the soup Cut each biscuit into 9 pieces Place biscuits on top, cover and turn the crockpot to High and cook for another hour Stir, serve and ENJOY!
