At 11:59:41 Pawnee Nation conducted a monthly test of their Outdoor Warning Siren, the test consisted of about a 3 minute Alert. Then, at 12:00:38 the Town of Pawnee conducted a monthly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens, on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, the test consisted of about a 3 minute Alert. Pawnee is starting to test again after not testing for a while when they got a new fire chief over the summer. They were going to test yesterday but it was cloudy so they moved it to today, so I was able to run over and try to record this TechTrol since there’s not a video of one yet. A guy from the Public Works Department came over and told me he was there to see if BOTH the TechTrol and the Thunderbolt worked because they kept the ‘bolt on after putting up the TechTrol. Both still failed though. Then around 12:25 I was on the south side of town taking pictures of the Sterling and I heard that ‘bolt go off, it sounded terrible though. I had a feeling I should’ve stayed, but I didn’t, should’ve listened to my guy.
