The first time I tried bangers and Mash was during our vacation in Orlando Florida. We were at Epcot’s food and wine tour and I decided to give it a try. And I actually liked it more than I expected too! I recreated as soon as we got back and it came out delicious! Sausages are cooked and serve in a bed of mashed potatoes and drenched with gravy! Bangers & Mash Ingredients 5 pork sausages* 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 onion, sliced thin 2 cups beef broth 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water To serve with - mashed potatoes, peas Directions Preheat oven to 400°. Place sausages onto a baking sheet. Transfer to the oven roast for 20 minutes (or until cooked through) flipping them halfway. While the sausages are roasting, heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-6 minutes. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and cornstarch mixture. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 3 minutes, or until thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add cooked sausages and let simmer for 1 more minute. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas. Note *Classic Bangers & Mash is made with Bangers sausages but you can use any good quality pork sausage. Instagram / joannegpimentel
