The Battle of Guilford Courthouse: an Animated Map

A generalized animated map showing highlights of the battle at Guilford Courthouse located in present day Greensboro, North Carolina. This animation has been altered from the original movie completed as part of my Master's Degree requirements at the University of North Carolina and Greensboro, Department of Geography in 2001. The music has been stripped due to obscure usage rights and several sound effects were updated or removed. An animated legend sounding off the units has been removed as well since it never added much to the movie. Sound effects (musket and cannon fire) and some photos come from a reenactment in 2004. One of the groups featured during the reenactment is the 4th Coy, Brigade of Guards (http://brigadeofguards.org/).
