In this 60-minute session, we’ll go over R155 and R156 which addresses developing and maintaining a Cybersecurity Management System (CSMS) and Software Update Management System (SUMS) respectively throughout the life cycle of vehicles. These have a lot of similarities so I thought that I would cover them together and kill two birds with one stone! Since the session is a little over an hour, here the timelines for each chapter: UNECE WP.29 and R155 / R156 Overview (at time 0:0:00) R155 / R156 Structure, Sections and Annexes (at time 0:6:15) R155 Annex 5 Threats and Mitigations (at time 0:35:25) R155 Section 7 Specifications for CSMS (at time 0:46:30) R156 Section 7 Specifications for SUMS (at time 0:56:10) As a reminder I have also posted more “A fresh look at” videos covering ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 24089, Automotive In Vehicle Networking (IVN) with CAN bus, and Learning in general on my LinkedIn page. For more information DM me on LinkedIn or by email at [email protected]. I am looking forward to meeting you soon! I would also like to call out @Charles Wilson for #AVCDL and @Brandon Barry for #Breakwater which I have referenced in my presentation relative to Annex 5 “List of threats and corresponding mitigations”; also, AVCDL relative to Section 7 “Specifications”. Let's work together to ensure our systems are "Secure by Design".
