Palestinians walk along road between destroyed buildings in Gaza City STORYLINE: Drone footage showed the destruction of buildings in Gaza City's Tal Al Hawa neighbourhood where thousands have arrived for the first time since Monday after more than 15 months of war. Crowds of displaced Palestinians made the journey back to heavily destroyed northern Gaza for a second day on Tuesday, under a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The United Nations said Tuesday that more than 375,000 Palestinians returned to the north since Israel started letting them on Monday. Families are walking for hours along a seaside road with whatever belongings and food they can carry. Others are preparing to leave the squalid tent camps and former schools where they’ve been sheltering in the south. Many say they're happy to return, even though their homes in northern Gaza are likely damaged or destroyed. Others say the feeling is bittersweet, as nearly everyone has friends or relatives killed by Israel during the 15-month war against Hamas. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
