Minnie Mouse Video Game. Join Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale as they attempt to save the castle before it’s too late. Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive at Disney Castle, discovering it has been overrun with Heartless. Battling their way to Queen Minnie Mouse, she tells them that there is something in the castle’s audience chamber that will help. Sora escorts the Queen through the audience chamber, where she opens a secret stairway to the castle’s protective Cornerstone of Light. The Cornerstone’s hall has become corrupted with dark thorns courtesy of Maleficent. Sora, Donald, and Goofy head to Hollow Bastion to seek the aid of the wizard Merlin. Returning to Disney Castle, they encounter a mysterious doorway. Sora, Donald, and Goofy enter it and discover they have returned to the past, back before Disney Castle was built and was known simply as the Timeless River. They spot Pete and battle with him but note that something doesn’t seem right. Discovering a group of portals, they encounter a younger King Mickey Mouse and aid him in various escapades. Upon helping him they discover that Pete, while lamenting his uselessness, also conjured up a door to the past. He is instructed by Maleficent to destroy the Cornerstone, which will allow her to take Disney Castle for herself. Upon learning this, Sora, Donald, and Goofy encounter Pete as he steals the Cornerstone and a steamboat belonging to his past self. Sora, Donald, and Goofy stop the steamboat from getting too far away, then do battle with Pete, receiving help from the Pete of the past, angered that his present-day self has stolen his steamboat. Upon his defeat, Pete returns to the present and Sora seals his door, with Goofy having to stop him from revealing Pete’s identity to his past self. With the Cornerstone returned to its pedestal, Disney Castle is restored. Kingdom Hearts 2 is a third-person action role-playing game published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2.
