Cleveland weather forecast: Strong cold front will lead to big temperature drop tonight

The action moves in this evening with a strong cold front. A stout line of rain (and rumble chances!) will blow through late this evening into tonight bringing a rapid temp drop as it moves through. Temps will go from the 50s down into the 30s and eventually 20s by tomorrow morning. With the snowmelt and rainfall, we'll be soaking wet overnight. As these temps drop, we're going to freeze any standing water into the morning hours. We'll need to watch closely for icy surfaces for that morning commute. Some snow will be flying around as well with a fresh coating expected tomorrow morning. The blustery weather continues with lake snow setting up later in the day. We could have some snowy travel for that evening commute as well as lake effect snow is expected to briefly get going.
