A short motorbike ride out to the Cape Palliser lighthouse. This is a nice ride for anyone to do. It's all on sealed roads except for a few km of gravel right at the end. I was surprised to see the seals there. There were quite a few of them clambering over the rocks. The youngsters were very active. It would have been good to have a "proper' camera and tripod so that I could pretend to be a wildlife photographer. I wonder how many people drive past the grave of the Zuleika Crew without even noticing it? There is a long history of shipwrecks around the coast. I find it interesting to dive into the old newspapers to read about what happened. The video might have been a bit better had I gone all the way up to the lighthouse itself. However, I was slightly constrained by time, and majorly constrained by fitness. Even the drone was struggling.
